A red flicky returns home after searching for food. The highlight of its day’s is seeing its family. It lives in peace but it wasn’t always like this. It still remembers that time, the time he was imprisoned in a metal robot, the time it was known as E-102 gamma.

It also still remembers the pink hedgehog, Amy Rose, and those two heroes Sonic and Tails. Those three worked together to help them live in peace, Amy who protected the bird for no reason, Sonic who freed my friends and tails by his side. I owe so much to them.

Suddenly there was an explosion. No matter how fast it flew it was too late. Their new home destroyed. But forget about the nest its family was missing. It looked up to find a huge flying fortress. The flicky followed it and got a small glimpse of its family in cages and a laughing Eggman. The fortress flew away at an incredible speed and the flicky was spun out of control. Dazed and confused it got up, but the fortress was gone. What’s Eggman up to this time, Doesn’t matter I’ve got to save my family.

The flicky has no idea what to do now. After all it’s just a bird. If it’s going to save it’s family he’s going to have to reunite with that machine that was once it’s prison, Gamma. And there’s only one person who can do that which it could trust, That mechanical "Whiz", Miles "Tails" Prower. So it headed off to the mystic ruins.

Tails just happens to be in bed right now, he spent all last night upgrading the cyclone. The flicky did all it could to wake him up, mainly diving itself into him. Tails woke up.

"Ow! What the..? A flicky?....Stupid bird!....I’d best get up anyway", Said Tails getting out of his bed. Tails got ready but the flicky has no time to wait. It started to circle Tails head to get its attention.

"Ok you got my attention, what do you want?" Asked Tails. The flicky flew to the door, "You want me to follow you?" the flicky nodded, "ok whatever". Tails followed the bird to the fallen egg carrier, more importantly the area where gamma met its toughest foe, E-101 beta advanced. The flicky pointed to the scraps of metal that was once his mighty metal prison.

"That’s! That’s! That’s the robot that almost killed Sonic! If it wasn’t for Amy...," Said tails nervously; "were you inside gamma?" the flicky nodded, "but why show me?" The flick flew under the helmet and flew up with it, "Ah! Do you want me to rebuild it?" the flicky nodded.

The two proceeded to final egg to get the blueprints for Gamma. It wasn’t a problem for Tails, Eggman’s bots are so easy to destroy he can do them in his sleep. The computers were no problem either for him. After getting the blueprints he started work on gamma, and after some modifications Gamma was ready, and more importantly, the flicky was in control.

"Thank you Tails", Said Gamma

"Good you can talk, mind explaining what’s going on?" asked tails. Gamma explained everything.

"I see, we should see Sonic, he’ll know what to do", said Tails.

"No there isn’t any time, we have to stop Eggman now", Said Gamma.

"OK, any idea how?" asked tails. There was a moment’s silence before they found out what Eggman was up to. The news was on the TV in the background, Eggman was attacking Capitol City, with the aid of two gamma like robots.

Gamma and tails headed towards capitol city as fast as they could. Sonic naturally was already there.

"Eggman when will you ever give up?" said Sonic

"Never! Theta, Mu, I order you to destroy that blue hedgehog", said Eggman

"Yes Master", said the two robots.

The two Robots advanced on sonic. Their advanced speed helped them and this time Sonic fell. Gamma fired a laser at both Theta and Mu. The two got up and were about to shoot back at gamma. Soon a fight broke out which left the 3 damaged while Sonic left to stop Eggman. Suddenly the three stood still, guns aimed at each other. But it didn’t seem to matter that Eggman was their master, Theta and Mu couldn’t hurt Gamma. Something inside them told them they were family and fighting each other was stupid.

Eggman was furious, "destroy them, I am your master", he said.

"NO! Y...Y..O..U..B...R...O...K...E...U.....PPPPPPPPPP! THIS FAMILY!!!! ARGH!" said Theta, raising it’s gun up along with Mu at the flying fortress, trying to break the unbreakable. Eggman laughed, how stupid are these birds, they can’t destroy this with only their lasers.

Meanwhile Sonic and Tails entered the fortress, "what’s going on down there?" asked sonic.

"I think I know now, I’ll tell you later", replied Tails. The two ran straight to the bridge, inside they activated the self-destruct.

"Hey Eggman, you’re watching the wrong heroes", said Sonic leaving straight after,

"Although I’d love to watch this, the fortress is going to blow, see ya!" said Tails also leaving straight away

"Uh-oh gotta go!" said Eggman who ran off the fortress jumping on a nearby building.

A few seconds later and the fortress blew, the five heroes returned to Tails workshop, where the 3 flicky’s were to be released from their metal prisons. But before gamma was released he said a few last words,

"Thank you miles and sonic, I’ll never forget how you helped me out and I’ll always be there if you need me, goodbye friends"

With that the 3 flicky’s left and returned to the forest, their home, together as a family the way it should be. While the empty Gamma lay in storage, in case one day he’s needed again.

Another day brings new adventure, but for now rest easy heroes
